Has my cryopod malfunctioned and I've woken up mid year? If so, is Update 15 any good / and Powerplay?

I assume U15 will basically be focused on the Thargoid War like they mentioned; but with more Rackham teases on Galnet, I am starting to get the feeling Powerplay might be somehow involved in the "key feature overhaul". It falls in around the same time as the mid-March Federation vote. Keep your lil Powerplay fingers crossed! 📊

It's odd to me that the console transfer process hasn't been a higher priority. Since they've cancelled development on consoles it seems Frontier would want to give those players who missed the first transfer, as well as those who unwittingly purchase the legacy version now without knowing there's no further development, an avenue to move over as soon as possible in order to sell extra copies.

Last year's console transfer process included a free copy of PC Horizons - not sure there's a short-term revenue benefit for Frontier.

Long-term there'd be benefits - a larger player base on the mutable platform probably means more spent on Arx (I'd want cool paint jobs for my shiny new Panther Clipper), and of course some will also fork out to try Odyssey.

I thought this as well, strictly because of of the CMDR’s who just got PC’s for Christmas, they had a huge market base that wanted to play elite, finally got PC’s and can’t yet. Im willing to be they could have released the console transfer minus a free copy of the game and would have made bank this christmas.

I doubt they're going to include the free copy going forward. So having a transfer process does give them the option to sell Ody. They didn't ask me though, just think it's weird.
