Discovery Scanner sound byte

Has anyone extracted the discovery scanner sound into a separate file?

I've decided that I really want to hear it every time I get a text message on my phone.

EDIT: I did it myself!
So I realised while I wasn't entirely sure how to extract the sound byte from the game files, it's not too hard to isolate some sounds in elite. (i.e. I went to the middle of nowhere, powered down any noise making systems, sat still, and did the scanner while recording).

So without further ado:

Scanner with buildup and pulse.

Scanner with just pulse.

Could you make one while in Hyperspace? I made one but I forgot my sound at 4% which is just enough for my headset (for the phone it wasn't).

^^ Now to fire up the scanner and chase down Commander Shepard and that annoying SSV Normandy (They can stay in silent-run for like forever!)

This is Perfect.

Now only to find a ringtone with the Elite 2 Frontier ,YOU'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!! ..Alarm

only if creating a youtube video of elite dangerous is also breaching copyright.

not like there's profit coming from this...

That said, if frontier say it's not allowed, then i'll instantly remove the links.

Now whenever people hear me get a message they can say, holy crap that sound is cool, and I can plug E: D.

This is awesome, though on my phone it could do with being louder (Xperia Z Ultra... huge phone, not so huge speaker). It also gave me an opportunity for a funny, told my work colleagues it reminded me of my wife farting.... lol.. Interestingly my wife was not so impressed I described her wind as a foghorn sufficiently loud as to bounce of planets.... I maybe sleeping on the sofa tonight... ho-hum.

Thanks for the sound effects in this thread.
I was looking for some sound effects to put in my phone. Is is possible to extract them from the game? Or is there a know spot where to download them?
Also looking for wallpapers for my phone. Most wallpapers are in Glorieus HD and ofcourse I could resize them but maybe there is a spot where they did that already?
