Discovery Scanner [Weekly Update] - 25/04/2022

They reestablished the Galnet writing team and made plot a year-round thing again? The only difference between the Initiatives year and the Colonia Bridge/NMLA/Azimuth/Salvation story arcs this past year is that there aren't months-long periods of silence in between events. Well, that and people really like the special module rewards they started offering.
I loved the II especially the Witch Head one, lots of CGs happening simultaneously and sequentially a minimum of story to distract from doing the CGs and no noticeable conspiracy going on Plus thee was a chance for a breather between them. The story arcs felt from the outside too script driven for my taste and worse contained far too much conspiracy, if I want doom filled conspiracy I can switch on the telly or read a newspaper.
I liked the rewards from CGs be they decals or a special module because of how rare they were, not just because you had to do well in the CG to get them but because it was only the occasional CG that provided them, generally the reward for the CG was the result it provided.

I think I'll move to the UK, where every day is a holiday! 🥳
It depends who you worked for as some companies gave extra days or swapped dates.
New Years Day.
Good Friday.
Easter Monday (+Tuesday where I worked)
May Day
Whit Monday (+Tuesday where I worked)
August Bank Holiday (Swapped to September where I worked until they changed the accounting software and computers)
Christmas Day (If these fell on a weekend additional days off in the following week)
Boxing Day (Another additional day where I worked)

So a massive total of 8 usually (an extra one this year for the Jubilee) not counting all those Saturdays and Sundays.

The US has 11 but biased more toward the end of the year.
Germany has 9-13 depending which region you are in. (Potentially the highest total in Europe).

Non-Damaged Starports
The team have noted that a few starports that you may have expected to be damaged last week were miraculously unharmed. Look out for this to be rectified this week, most likely Thursday. The Thargoids won't give up that easily. Maniacal laughter ensues
Was Novas supposed to have a damaged starport as well? Seems a bit odd for them to just be present in Alliance and Fed systems.
