President Hudson and Admiral Patreus praise the new modules and hope they will aide the fight against the Thargoids. Aegis announced a surveillance initiative, named Eagle Eye, to monitor systems with Thargoid activity in the Pleiades. Rounding out the news of the week, the Coalition of Othime declared their intention to carve a starport out of an asteroid to facilitate an expansion of their refinery operations.
In political news, the Princess successfully expanded her influence, but efforts from the Shadow President and Senator Torval stalled. For the first time in nearly a year, massive reports of undermining flooded the Shield of Justice's headquarters in Kamadhenu at the end of the week. Forensic analysts stated that over sixteen thousand Imperial Supply vessels were destroyed over the course of the week, cancelling the fortification efforts of twenty three garrisons and undermining fourteen. Six of those systems have entered turmoil, with protests in response to the lack of security provided by the Emperor's Shield of Justice.
The logistics pilots pledged to Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval have already answered their call. Priorities for fortification set by Research were complete at the end of last night. Further delivery of garrison supplies is inadvisable, due to the precarious nature of the Emperor's supply of command capital and the overhead required for her current dominion. Unfortunately, due to the nature and demand on the available command capital, establishing a garrison in Belgitan is not an expected outcome from this week. There are several systems designated as targets for undermining available on the cycle priorities.
The Emperor may not have experienced turmoil in the past year, but there is little cause for concern. The Shield of Justice has endured massive upheaval in the past and will endure more in the future.
