Currently we have only one way to find out distance between two stars on the map - be in one of those systems. Would like to have an ability to see the distance between two remote systems.
How would that work? Super simple. You select a star, then hold SHIFT and hover your cursor over another star - it shows you the distance between those two stars.
I think it would help in trip planning in very low stellar density areas, where stars few and far between.
Edit. I have to elaborate due to some misunderstanding. I'm talking about galaxy map functionality, nothing about stars in one given system. I want to be able to measure distances between any two stars on galaxy map.
