Yes, we get it, space is BIG. But do you know what Elite is? A game. Games are supposed to be fun. A game that makes you put your feet up for 30 minutes is not fun. Nobody bought Elite to wait for their ship to go somewhere while they went off to make coffee.

What distances is taking you 30 mins? Most in-system distances are below 110KLs, that is 5-8 minutes (in a sidewinder unupgraded) flying 'properly' instead of pointing your ship and putting your feet up

People, don't fly close to planets, if a station is on the other side DON'T go for the inside of the orbit, you'll be like flying in molasses.
