This is exactly what I've wanted for my Conda ever since I bought it
So we all know that you can manipulate the game assets to achieve a white paintjob only viewable by yourself but man it looks good

After i saw on FDsupport on twitter that there was a store issue. i asked if it was to prep for Anaconda skins. this is the answer i got and will have to go on and carry on waiting for the moment.
didnt even expect a reply but its something atleast.
Wish it would come today but i guess well have to wait a while longer..

The trouble is, they released them just as it became impractical to burn back. Maybe for players who have all days to play, but if you don't, burning back 30,000ly and then another 30,000ly back just to apply a skin simply isn't practical. If they came up with a way for expedition members to apply a new skin without having to fly back (without allowing for repair / restock) they would gain several hundred potential customers. Right now it's either - be stuck with the current paintjob for several months or burn over 60,000ly total just to apply a new skin.

I suspect that if anyone who bought skins asked FD nicely, they may Find a Way™ to get a skin applied, especially seeing as it was mentioned that Fd specifically mentioned DWE when releasing them..
Personally, I woul dhave taken the 60k LY round trip option, just because I'm mad like that, but then, The Golden Phallus™ would no longer be true to it's name, an dI don't want to rename my ship. So it stays as is, and hopefully many others will find a way to get the new skins applied for themselves.

I asked them and they refused to help, saying that they only send people back if they encounter game breaking bugs, such as losing an SRV due to a bug. As if I actually want to be sent back - if they could apply them without sending anyone back that would obviously be a lot better
So, I guess I won't be buying these since I have no way of using them for months - DW isn't scheduled to reach it's final destination until April, and even then there's the matter of the 65kly journey home, so any conda skins I buy now I won't be able to use until summer, making them kind of useless to me at this point. And no, I'm not racing over 60kly (30kly to the bubble and then 30kly back) just to change the ship's color.
