Additional Comments While I greatly enjoyed the entire journey, and am glad I was able to take part, being on the west coast US made it difficult for me to participate in most of the events that took place, so it was still a somewhat lonely journey for me.

Statement about the expedition: This is my first ever exploration expedition. It was the gaming equivalent of deciding I wanted to learn to run and sub-sequentially signing up for a marathon! This has been such an open, friendly and engaging group. I'm truly hooked on exploring and I believe that it's primarily due to the community. I had to leave the gaming world for a few weeks during the expedition and had to travel 41,000 LY's in 3 days to catch up to the main fleet at WP 22. It was an amazing feeling to be parked at Beagle Point with a dozen other ships surrounding me on the ground and fleet comms buzzing. There are very few truly momentous periods in gaming and this was one. Very proud to have been a part of it with ya'll! Statement about the expedition: This journey has been an amazing accomplishment. Without the support and backing of the Distant Worlds Expedition, I probably would have never found myself at Beagle Point. The community as a whole is a driving force in this game and I feel explorers will be it's inheritance. Long after other groups have folded and moved on explorers, Fuel Rats, Canonn, FGE will be here to carry on Elite's traditions. I hope to have many more journeys with this group of amazing people.
