[DISTANT WORLDS] - The Travelers' Timeline

That's really a strange nebula, have you tried to restart it?

Working as intended. It's a bipolar planetary nebula with a WR star at the center. The internal structure is complex, as it should be given that it has planets sloshing things around. A very cool feature "sort of on the way to Thor's Eye" and one of the hottest stars in the galaxy, so a must see.

It's best viewed from the night side of the D 4 A moon in the nearby system Bug Sector PD-S b4-1. Which is the closest landable planet.

Good lord, that's beautiful! You're not running a graphics mod? That's the way it looks stock?
I am running EDFX or whatever you call it, but I've turned off most of the things it does, and dialed back the sharpening to something more subtle as it was way overdone with the settings I originally installed for my tastes.

I reached the Lagoon Nebula on the 16th.

On my way to the Omega Nebula now.
What's the galactic map name for that PW2010 supercluster mentioned at waypoint 3 in the Abyss thread?

I may have hit a little snag...

Sat down on DROJU NO-Q E5-4 A 5, a 1.54G ringed HMC. Class IV Gas giant at DROJU MI-S E4-9. Last, a potato planet at DROJU BM-K D9-17. I apologize to all other ship types (nah, who am i kidding), don't feel bad, I'm having a blast taking selfies of TordenSkjold. Just can't help it :)

Dang, Ziljan, that's 1,776.60Ly, at least 1½ hours away...

A planet nosedive and belly bomb

Would you please be careful with my ship!

Another CMDR recommended this place to me. Reminds us of home somewhat.

Thor's Eye. None more black.

Waypoint 2 at NGC 6350 and the Lagoon Nebula. I seem to be alone here.

I don't know if the gap between the Orion Spur and the rest of the Sagittarius-Carina Arm has a name. I propose we call it "Orion's Armpit."
