Distress Call - Kamchatka, HD 95618

Greetings, Commanders!

Through a combination of poor planning and sub-par navigational skills, I have managed to strand my fleet carrier, Kamchatka, in the system HD 95618.

I could really use some fuel, and to sweeten the pot for anyone kind enough to lug some out my way, I currently have a buy order out for 10,000 units of tritium at 100,072 credits each. That's around a billion credits, depending on how you source the Tritium.

Hoping for a Christmas miracle :)

I do hope someone comes to your rescue, but 50k/T over purchase price seems a very poor incentive for that kind of distance to me. If I used a carrier I might just about cover petrol costs. How much tritium do you need to get to the bubble or to a place you can mine it?

I'm currently selling Tritium like mad in Colonia, at 125k/ton, undercutting the other carriers there selling Tritium for 149k.

And that's Colonia, and I got my Tritium for 4k.

I'm not sure your price is good enough, but on the other hand you already got some CMDRs inbound.
I'd also advise keeping a mining ship on your carrier at all times, to get you out of such a mess by yourself.

Third, 10000 Tritium is a tad much to return to the bubble. My carrier has 1300 tons of services on board, and jumps on a full tank for 73 Tritium with two drop tanks onboard.
Which basically means 6 jumps out is half a tank, or 500 Tritium. That's mineable in three hours or so...

The price was really more of a "thanks for being a good person and letting me waste your time" gift to be honest XD

You're spot on with the keeping a mining ship onboard. The sad thing is... I have one. I was just so completely inattentive that I ran out of Tritium in a completely empty system over 200 ly from the nearest star... Because after years of playing this game I'm just that good!

As for the 10,000 tritium, you are once again spot on. I figured it'd be nice to ensure that if multiple commanders decided to plot a course over, there'd be a decent chance of still selling something for their trouble, even if they got pipped to the post. That and I can always gift the extra forward to other carriers when I get back into the bubble :)

I've arrived, delivering now.

Thank you so much, Nadreck!

If you're still around, I have a small quantity of Low Temp Diamonds (60) and 27 units of void opals that I slapped up as low as I could go. It's not much, but you're welcome to them. There's also 1,600 or so power generators on for 119c/ea... dunno why you'd want them, but y'know.

Sorry Puffins, didn't mean to ignore you. See the reply to Bigmaec, it sort of covers your query... Sort of.

Sure- and I am very glad you got a rescue! One of the lovely things about E:D is that we have things like the fuel rats in our community. I also now understand your logic for the 10k of tritium, having read the whole thread.

OK, loading complete (and I bought the extra goodies). I'm now about a billon credits richer! Admittedly after selling a lot of tritium, but at least I've freed-up some cargo space, I was somewhat over-full. I still have just over 10,000t aboard, so that's OK.

Fantastic! Again, thank you so much for the aid. Enjoy the creds XD

I've been out of the loop for a while, could I ask where you located some at 4k per ton?

Yeah they trashed the vibrant player driven tritium market and now made it more expensive. Which in terms of billions isn't an issue I get that. But having us mine it sod that too. Just be frugal using it till they do something to it again
