I guess it doesn't help so many items ingame are comically big from 2d text letters, animal signs, habitat animal boards, animal statues etc that messes up the whole idea of scale when compared to realistic sized animals.

It’s not that I am against smaller exibits if you want them.

I just like what we have right now that’s why I see no point in putting so much work in recreating the whole exhibit system to make them smaller and even less customizable.

That is why smaller exibits are just not for me even if what we have right now is a size of a bathroom - I like it a lot.

Yeah im definetly in favor of resizing alot of items.
The animal signs especially, i really like the art but most of them are so massive that they are almost wall murals instead of signs

Nothing about smaller exhibits would make them less customisable the displays in-game are ridiculously big - even the 1/4 size suggested by NZFanatic is as big as a king-sized bed. Whilst more space isn’t bad for animals (in general) it also means that building reptile houses with anything like a good variety of reptiles in them is impossible in a realistically- sized building. Smaller exhibits would increase, not decrease customisation.

I meant inside exibit customization

I really love our big exhibits and never fully understood your wants for smaller ones. It makes no sense for me.

I would only like to see bigger/combined ones for iguanas and large snakes or turtles.

Also if you really like you can always make them look smaller with some easy building tricks if you want to.

These exhibits are literally as big as my bathroom. Im imagining putting like 5 frogs in one of my bathrooms. That’s just an unrealistic amount of space, and most real world zoos have much smaller exhibits.

Here’s another way to visualise the scale of the exhibits: a normal doorway in a normal house (where I am but I assume they’re roughly similar worldwide) is approximately 2m high. The exhibits are twice that tall.

Funny, with all the stuff in it (toilet, sink, bathtub, shower) it seems really small.
I know mines rather small at like 2 x 2.5 x 2.5 metres. Like a bath with shower overhead, sink and toilet with not that much standing room. I pray for our iguanas who only have a tiny bit more room than that.

I was thinking about the size of the exhibits. My dining room is about 11.5 ft by 13.5 ft (3.5 m by 4.5 m). A dining room, which is a semi-large room in the house, is roughly the same size as the in-game terrarium.

I still honestly can't see how this is too small for iguanas

Especially compared to home terrariums for many people who keep large lizards , ingame it's large enough for most uses even too large for many animals. Too large isn't a phrase I would use often when describing an animals habitat, but the yellow anaconda and iguanas don't look big in the exhibit. If we were to get maybe monitor lizards or a reticulated python then I see the argument.

I think the main issue is basing a stance on a breeding exhibit where exhibits are obviously overwhelmed on the space factor for our larger animals but I can't say since I never have more than 3 animals in a exhibit at once (excluding insects).

I agree. I'm not against having a larger size that's, like, double the length. Then breeding exhibit species wouldn't be so big an issue, especially combined with the animal management tab (which I'd actually want for habitat animals, too)
