Divisiveness in the forum is a bummer

It's not going to stop. We're all very opinionated, and there's nothing in place to stop us mouthing off our opinions.

I understand very well what you're saying and it was perhaps a misstake to to write this since you can't hande negative threads that well but if you truly want respect... show people respect on this side this isn't the way and I think you know it aswell... I'm not gonna bother you any longer but this is how i feel like now and it's sad to see how far it's gone

I still love the game so much and will play it for sure of course But I'm not gonna bother so much on the forum after release... I don't like repetive complaints aswell but most of the time I ignore them instead of starting an argument which you can never win based on your opinions against others that have already made up their mind what they think of this game and how they feel. it's hard to Convince people on a forum because it isn't in real life.

The issue is a lot of the complaining isn't off of opinions. It is based of fake facts and lies. I have pretty much said as of Monday I'm not going to be here at all. I use to come for the fun speculation and banter now it is just people tying to bring others down based on lies

But as long as the discussions are constructive and are discussing teh post and not the poster then whatever side of the discussion they are they will be fine.

If however people start attacking each other well that's when the Moderating team steps in.

Quite simple.

Discuss the post not the poster.
Criticism is fine as long as it's constructive.
Play nicely with each other, just because someone dosen't agree with you it's not a reason to start throwing toys out of prams.

If you see a post that breaks the forum rules then just report it, don't feel like you HAVE to engage.

Yeah, im also sick of the reptetive same (sometimes based on misinformation) complanints some are valid some are really nit-picky and unfair. I'm just gonna visit reddit once a day, and only to see, if there's new news. The JWE Discord turned into a toxic pit. Im glad this game is Singleplayer, so i dont need to engage with the community any further. I'm used to toxicity i play CSGO after all. But this community trumped it by a large margin, which says alot about this community. Me personaly still will enjoy the game, im still hyped for it, its still my personal GOTY. And i certainly will play it for many hours to come! Glad i dont need reddit or the Discord to find the Patchnotes.

TBH with you it feels like you've turned out to be the biggest whiner of them all. The way you keep posting and complaining is about Whining is Whining itself.

all people on this forum deserves a fair chance our do you not agree? or do you not like people who write negative posts? this is democracy or do you prefer anything else since you don't want any negativity on this forum and keep telling them to not write on this forum...

Sure there are real trolls here now and then but All people have their rights to make their Opinions heard otherwise theres no use posting on this forum anymore if you aren't allowed to be negative and Complain at all (difference from whining).

I've no Intension to be mean but in real life in a real discussion would you openly act like this? I've been agreeing with you alot before on this forum but it seems that things have changed...
I'm sure you have the best intensions for this forum but whe have to have a open mind about negativity otherwise this forum is nothing that is democratic.

just because people are complaining about the game and sending negative feedback doesn't have to mean that they are all whiners there is a difference.

Sorry but criticizing the whining, challenging the whiners and calling them out for it isn't whining.

Maybe you should learn what whining means first before you say someone is whining.

No we were not being mean. At least I wasn't. I didn't personally attack anyone. If they don't like people challenging them or calling them out for whining they shouldn't do it.

If people thought I was being mean then they need to toughen up a little.

I think he is just sick and tired (as I am) of the same people with the same complaints. If they would take the time and be ciritical about the issues that would be one ting, but sometimes its just I want 50 raptors to kill a t rex all at once, and Frontier is a fail for mot doing that. My biggest issue and I have no problem calling people out( and would do it in real life, I am not afraid to confront people about anything) is that the people that are spreading misinformation. They AMA had A LOT of good information in it and we learned a lot /(still sad about no sleeping, but not the end of the world). We are getitng people spreading the false or half truth info and running with it like wildfire and the few people that try to correct them get called fanboys/frontier lovers etc.

It's hilarious cause the whiners don't want to be called out or challenged for whining. They want a safe space I guess. Yes I am sick of seeing thread spammed where people whine about issues that have already been dealt with in a more constructive manner, whining about things that aren't an issue like they did with the Spinosaurus roar now replaced with the Spinosaurus size, people spamming threads about AI or animation issues.

BIS made a video today where he talked about all these issues. I agreed with him. But even he said don't cry about it. He should have said whine. But I think Brits use the term whinge which basically means the same. I can't help but feel that his video kind of encourages the whiners indirectly. It like justifies it in their minds, even though he told them not to whine about it.

Exactly, i've been lurking more then anything in this forum but every time I come in this forum I see topics with misinformation. And this misinformation is causing unnecessary discussions. I've read the full AMA and a lot of the information is perfectly clear to me. And if something is not well then we will see it either on the 10th or the 12th. But most things are explained perfectly well by Frontier Development. I think they are actually one of the few Devs that are straight forward towards the community. They also listen to the feedback and have already adjusted some of the issues. They can't please everyone!

The same with all the duplicate posts. What is up with that. Can people not search on this forum or are they just too lazy to look before posting?

You're welcome to debate and discuss things in the game on our forums, but you're very much so not permitted to discuss the user/member who made the post.
