As I mentioned in a previous post about Control Panels I mentioned that I am building my own button board using a USB interface with 32 push buttons connected.
It is still a work in progress and I have just got to the testing stage. It detects button presses with the software supplied by the PCB manufacturer and other programs but the Alpha 1.1 standalone doesn't detect the button presses when I try to assign functions in "Control Options". I'm using Win 8.1 which detects the USB interface as a "DSD 32 Button Controller - EST". I've tried it with and without my HOTAS connected with no joy.
Is it a case of the Elite Client being not so sophisticated that it will only accept inputs from certain devices or is there something I have overlooked?
