After the release of the Dominion Malta Expansion Pack, there is now some concern if JWE 2 is now done with DLC since the original JWE released its last DLC in a similar way and around a similar time. However, regardless of if the game is done with any more DLC, we can all agree that there are some potential ideas for more. So, here is a list of potential DLC ideas of mine, which I will be separating into two categories:
- Expansion Pack
- Like the two Dominion packs, expansion packs will include new maps, a new story campaign, and the usual features of every Pack.
- Species Pack
- Like the remaining packs, these packs add new species into the game that were or were not part of the franchise, with potential new skins and variants.
Expansion Pack
- Camp Cretaceous: Mantah Corp.
- Description
- While we already had a Camp Cretaceous pack, there were some things that were left out or weren’t featured in the show at the time of its release. The last two seasons of Camp Cretaceous offer up brand-new opportunities for gameplay and expansion. This expansion pack will focus on the events that occurred during those last two seasons, in addition to new features based around the “Hidden Adventure” interactive bonus episode.
- New Species
- Smilodon
- First extinct mammal in canon
- Could hunt scavengers and small herbivores
- Could fight small carnivores like velociraptor, dilophosaurus, pyroraptor, dimetrodon, etc. (Indoraptor may be the max limit)
- Could also fight pachycephalosaurs
- Sino-Spino (Spinoceratops)
- Skins: Rebel and Angel
- Omnivorous since the two in the show were stated to be omnivorous.
- Can feed on ground fiber like the sinoceratops and from the goat feeder, carnivore feeder, and piscivore feeder like spinosaurus
- Can get along with scavengers, but not other species
- Nothosaurus
- Could be made to be semi-aquatic or not
- If not
- Terrestrial, but requires a lot more water than other species
- Marine
- If semi-aquatic
- Deep water terrain brush
- A ramp that connects the lagoon to the ground (with two points to connect fencing)
- If not
- Can hunt small species
- Can fight pachycephalosaurs and small carnivores
- Could be made to be semi-aquatic or not
- Tarbosaurus
- Would have the clicking sound as featured in “Hidden Adventure”
- Would also be nice to include another large tyrannosaur
- Smilodon
- Alternate Skins & Variants
- Spinosaurus (Asset 87) (Variant)
- Would include the roar
- Tyrannosaurus rex (Little Eatie) (Skin)

- The map would be large
- Mantah Corp Island
- Story Campaign

- BRADs can capture small species.
- BRAD-Xs can capture medium-sized species.
- Drones can capture large species, medicate all species, and summon and move them.

- This expansion pack would focus on the Muertes Archipelago, which was featured in JWE. Additionally, this would also be themed around the 1990 and 1995 novels which the entire franchise originated from. In addition, new features would include things from other parts of the franchise. This would be a great way to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Jurassic Park.

- The mamenchisaurus in the film is different from the one in the game. It was smaller in size but had a longer tail in comparison.
- Dilophosaurus (1990 “Jurassic Park”)
- In the novel, the small dilophosaurus presented in the films were the juveniles in the novel. The adults were much larger, likely the same size as the real dinosaur.
- The venom spitting is still present, but the frill is not
- Carnotaurus (1995 “The Lost World”)
- The chameleon-like aesthetic they were presented as (specifically the eyes)
- Can camouflage
- Visual reference: The Lost World: Jurassic Park Arcade

- A new map would be based at the Lockwood Manor
- All the maps from the original game are brought back
- Story Campaign
- Part 1: You are tasked by John Hammond, Benjamin Lockwood, and Dr. Henry Wu to bring back these extinct species at the Lockwood Manor.

You will move between Isla Matanceros, Isla Tacaño, and Isla Muerta, creating small parks on them with dinosaurs.
- Part 3: On Isla Sorna, you are tasked by Hammond to scout the island to study and document the dinosaurs in their natural habitat. For this, the more and better photos you take, the more your reputation with InGen becomes, which will aid in preventing them from taking the dinosaurs off the island.
- Part 4: Set in between the events of The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3, you are working with InGen operatives on Isla Sorna to create dinosaurs that were not on InGen’s list.
- New Features
- Enclosures
- Underwater Viewing Dome
- Similar to the one shown in the Telltale game
- Marine reptiles can attack the dome and break it open, causing anyone inside to float into the lagoon, where they can be eaten.
- Underwater Viewing Dome
- Fencing
- Security Level 6 Fencing
- Essentially the electrified concrete fence from the first game, but can hold every terrestrial species.
- Would be a great inclusion since the only fence in the game that has a level 6 security rating is the invisible fence.
- Security Level 6 Fencing
- Gene Modification
- Lysine Dependence
- An additional gene can be added to include lysine dependence
- This essentially makes the campaign more challenging as the dinosaurs need to feed on plants and meat that are rich in lysine.
- If the dinosaurs go too long without these, they will become sick and die.
- Veterinary Units can inject lysine into the animals
- Can be turned on or off in sandbox mode
- Lysine Dependence
- Research
- Lysine Food
- With the inclusion of the Lysine Dependence gene, lysine-rich foods for dinosaurs are a requirement.

- Lysine Food
- Terrain
- Lysine Plants
- Readily available in sandbox mode, regardless of if lysine dependence is on or off
- Paleo Plants
- Not a requirement for herbivores, but can be beneficial
- Readily available in sandbox mode

- While we have several giant sauropods in the game, having one of the largest of all time would be great.
- It could be impossible for even the Indominus rex to kill due to its massive size.
- Due to its size, it may be the first herbivore to have a level 6 security rating.
- Platecarpus
- A small marine reptile related to mosasaurs
- We need a much wider variety of marine reptiles

- A whole body of leathery, scaly skin
- We could use fewer medium to large-sized carnivores without osteoderms.
- Have it be similar to allosaurus, but lacking osteoderms
- Dislikes other carnivores (aside from scavengers), especially allosaurus and ceratosaurus
