Dlc that could make everyone happy

Hey everyone. Today I wanted to talk about packs that can include a bit of something to make everyone happy. I have liked when packs spread out where as animals are not restricted to one or two parts of the world. Some people want representation with certain animal families while others want something else.
Here’s what I came up with: make a dlc that includes the following in a way that can satisfy most people.

First a Dlc name and make sure it’s appropriate that can match your animal picks.
  1. Canid
  2. Feline
  3. Ground bird or won’t fly away
  4. Primate
  5. Hoofstock
  6. Your choice herbivore/carnivore or omnivore
  7. Your choice herbivore/carnivore or omnivore
Skip the exhibit
Your choice can be reptile, bear, rodent, marsupial etc or you can add an additional family member.
Also don’t talk about why you disagree with one of these families or why you don’t like other peoples picks please.
or is this kinda impossible?

Beautiful Species animal pack
  1. Raccoon dog
  2. Ocelot
  3. Lady Amherst's pheasant
  4. Black howler monkey
  5. Dromedary camel
  6. African spurred tortoise
  7. Cape crested porcupine
  8. Luna moth (WE)
  9. Red lacewing (WE)
  10. Tailed jay (WE)
  11. Paper kite (WE)
  12. Queen Alexandra's birdwing (WE)
(I know you said to skip the exhibit, but I couldn't omit them; I absolutely love them, y'all)

Is there any real demand for more canines? We kind of expect them given Frontier's history but none are even very high on the meta-wishlist, which you could at least say about the red fox. Still:

Forest Animal Pack:
1. Raccoon dog
2. Ocelot
3. Golden pheasant
4. Mantled guereza
5. Wild boar
6. Tasmanian devil
7. American black bear

I think would be better do a caniform over canid. I personally don't really want any more canids but include a choice for the original my idea. Btw by this I mean canids, bears musteloids, pinnipeds ect. Anyway,

Drylands animal pack
Sand cat
Black backed jackal or honey badger
Secretary bird
Hamadryas baboon
Blackbuck
Collared peccary
Patagonian mara

Islands Animal Pack:
  1. San Clemente Island Fox
  2. Javan Leopard
  3. Victoria Crowned Pigeon
  4. Bioko Drill
  5. Lowland Anoa
  6. Desmarest's Hutia
  7. Cuban Crocodile
  8. Mountain Chicken Frog

I'm not happy with any of these packs, especially not the one with the just-another-leopard in it.

I don't think it is possible to make everybody happy.

I would be happy with this random animal pack, mostly because the models are so unique and nothing else like this (spare for the goat) is in the game already, but a LOT of people don't care or even dislike the Honey Badger and Gerenuk, so making everybody happy is impossible.

1: Markhor
2: Secretary Bird
3: Tasmanian Devil
4: Crested Porcupine
5: Gerenuk
6: Shoebill
7: Honey Badger
8: Frilled Lizard or Orchid Mantis

Very unlikely to happen, but how about a...

Riparian Animal Pack
  1. Alligator Snapping Turtle - A large reptile with shell that is not a tortoise (also can Deep Dive)
  2. Black Howler Monkey - Great help in fixing the extreme shortage of South American primates
  3. Bush Dog - Introduces hunting behavior for smaller caniforms like foxes
  4. Fishing Cat - Has a brand new animation rig made for small cats (not BIG CATS)
  5. Nile Crocodile - Filling the last crocodilian niche in the remaining African continent
  6. Pere David's Deer - Another, extinct in the wild, ungulate important to conservation history
  7. Shoebill - One of the most requested habitat birds out there

Yep! I'm real and I'd welcome another species! Especially the more unique ones.

  1. Canid
  2. Feline
  3. Ground bird or won’t fly away
  4. Primate
  5. Hoofstock
  6. Your choice herbivore/carnivore or omnivore
  7. Your choice herbivore/carnivore or omnivore

Drylands does kind of make sense to me here: not necessarily deserts, but still arid scrubland places

Golden or Black Backed jackal
Sand Cat (wasn't a fan but I'm slowly warming up to them)
Secretary Bird
Hamadryas Baboon
Dromedary
Crested Porcupine
Honey Badger
Collard Peccary

I don't think anyone can come up with a pack that makes everyone happy. There is no way. Some people want the ABB as bad as some people want the american flamingo yet an equeal number of players (myself included) will be very dissapointed if they end up taking a slot in a pack instead of more unique choices.

Some people prefer realistic choices, others don't care about that in the slightless. Some want a full on bird pack others don't even want birds.

So yeah pretty much impossible to satisfy everyone.

That said you could can up with highly requested animal pack that includes many community favorites and that is heavily focused on SA

No name. Because i don't know how they will fit toguether but...

1. Canine: this one is the hardest. I don't think there is a highly requested canine, but i think most people would prefer a more unique canine if we get antoher one so bush dog, tanuki or jackal are the only options i think.
2. Feline: plenty of choices here but for certain no more big cats is the outcry of the community although most players seem to agree we are still missing small cats. I'll go with ocelot for this one. Gives a boost to South, Central and North America, is an arboreal animal, common in zoos, and lives in a variety on habitats, including deserts and rainforest.
3. Ground bird: an even harder cathegory because there are literally TONS of birds people want but despite my urge to include the secretary bird in this list i think the choice is between A DUCK or A PELICAN. I'll be selfish and picks my favorites: mandarin duck and peruvian pelican, but any would do.
4. Primate: again hard choice and tons of options. The consensus around is that we need more NW monkeys with prehensile tails or another baboon. I'll go with the first for this one and pick a spider monkey species, but second in line would be the hammadryas baboon
5. Hoofstock: something people are really asking for lately seem to be more caprines, specialky asian ones so despite my need to pick the blackbuck (because i think we need asian antelopes as well) i'll go with the markhor here.
6. Another carnivore: easy. Tasmanian devil. People say no more meat eaters yet are claiming for wolverine, coati and tassie. I think this one is the one with a larger fan base plus is a marsupial and one of the few iconic australian animals missing still.
7. Another hervibore: another rodent. While the Mara has been growing in popularity lately (and i love it) and despite being very common in zoos the one that takes the cake for popularity here is the OW procupine, specially the african crested. Is iconic, an animal that regular players can easily recognize even if they are not animal savy, which makes it marketable for Frontier as well. Is also unique in its morphology and would have animations like nothing in game (i'm talking about those quills of course)
8. WE: flying birds. No matter what kind. People have been waiting for this since the bat. Is clearly what would make most people happy. Add to that if they are macaws or toucans.

So to make it simple and clear

1. Bush dog/Tanuki
2. Ocelot
3. Duck/Pelican (any species)
4. Spider monkey
5. Markhor
6. Tasmanian devil
7. African crested porcupine
8. WE: macaws

It dosent obey to the thread rules but I'd like to propose a pack that I think everyone would like. It fills most of the categories but not all. I could not think of a canid that everyone would like ta this point. Well without further ado,

Woodlands animal pack
Black swan
Tasmanian devil
Markor
Wolverine
Eurasian boar
Black howler monkey
Southern pudu

The most divisive one is easily the pudu but it could subbed for mabey something like a possum or Hare. Please tell me if you would actually like this pack. I tried to do the best I could to satisfy everyone.

I mean, I don't think I'd agree with that format specifically, thought I think it's at leasr in the broad right direction.

1. Japanese Raccoon Dog
2. Ocelot
3. A Pelican species
4. Golden lion tamarin
5. Musk Ox
6. Tasmanian Devil
7. Spectacled Bear

Highlands Pack

1. Yak (domestic or wild doesn't matter)
2. Pallas Cat
3. Ethiopian wolf
4. Markhor
5. Wolverine
6. Brown Bear
7. [any exhibit animal]
