Aliens pack

1. Bush dog
2. Jaguarundi
3. Temminck's Tragopan
4. Golden snubnose
5. Haartebeest
6. Alligator snappingturtle
7. Coconut Crab

The big four animals that I still need are
1: Tasmanian Devil
2: Markhor
3: Secretary Bird
4: Crested Porcupine

I can't imagen anyone not liking these animal in any expansion.

After these animals are finally in the game, I can breath again, and just relax and wish for my next layer of really needed animals:

Mainly: Leopard Seal, Shoebill, Saiga, Echidna, Gerenuk, Ratel, Wolverine, Walrus, Musk Ox, Takin, Howler Monkey, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Any Pelican, Manatee, Spectacled Bear, Black Swan, Alligator Snapping Turtle, Frilled Lizard, Giant Salamander, Any Chameleon, King Cobra, Any Mantis, Gelada, Kiwi, Golden Pheasant or Lady Amherst, Marabou Stork and Serval.

I can't imagen people really disliking these animals spare for the Saiga and Leopard Seal, but I really think these are all special awesome animals in the real world, and I would really like them in the game!!!

Also don’t talk about why you disagree with one of these families or why you don’t like other peoples picks please.
or is this kinda impossible?
I feel it kinda isn't... besides the concept of "DLC that makes everyone happy" being highly debatable, one of the most common complaints seems to be an excess of carnivorans in DLC; in particular, canines and felines... and you've mandated both.

I think at most I could live with 1 more dog and 3 more cats. Personally for dogs and cats though, I just want 1 more small cat like a margay or Pallas cat and I'll be happy.
Going by my old continent/biome/region method, I think we don't need more dogs, and need two small cats: one for the tropical biome and one for deserts. Ocelot and Sand cat for example would do the job for me personally.

I think another dog is welcome by many of us though... I understand that they have been well represented so far, yet the ones we do have all fall well into the dog or fox categories. The dog family's diversity is NOT fully represented imo. We don't have a single jackal. Coyotes are iconic and would add much to the game in terms of biome and regions. (Although I really hope that if we only get one more dog its not the "Prairie wolf.") Bat-eared foxes eat insects, grey foxes climb, tanukis and bush dogs don't look typical. There are so many canid niches we haven't represented in game yet. I'm not only fine with another dog, I'd welcome him ❤️ especiall Bat-eared fox :)

I think it depends on the dog, though.

Zorros, for example, would be entirely unique canid group, but they are extremely similar to foxes so they wouldn't add that much new to the game.

Buy, bush dogs, grey foxes (the best), and raccoon dogs would be and seem to be welcome

I'm confused cuz in spanish zorro is just the translation of fox lol

With infinite slots? I wouldn't kind a few more canines.

With the persumably <40 slots we have left? Definitely no. For every canine, thrre's another carnivore I'd prioritize. For every carnibore, there's likely another mammal I'd prioritize. And for any mammal, there's likely a bird or reptile I'd prioritize.

Canines got more love than any other group, it's time to open the spotlight for other groups.

Why does it need to be?
It doesn't "need" to be. I just want it to. and I figure the game already has a ton of wolves, dogs and foxes why not add a more unique canid to complete the roster?? Tanuki and bush dog for example look as much like other carnivore families as much as dog. I'm just hoping that, if Frontier adds only one more, its not a coyote or wolf. Coyote is welcome if and only if its not the last canid.

Maned wolf? You don't get much more unique than that
I think they're referring to possible future additions. The maned wolf and the fennec fox are the only super unique canids in-game. The African wild dog, gray wolf, Arctic wolf, dingo, and dhole all behave very similar in-game, while the red fox and Arctic fox are very similar to each other, as well

The problem with the canine roster is not that we need more unique options.
The problem is that the basegame included the two perhaps most important species without doing them justice.

A cartoon-ish looking grey wolf that should either have been more generic or more specific. Instead it is stuck a weird place in-between.

And an African Wild Dog which should have been the canine flexing lots of pattern and color variations. Instead they put that effort into a red fox.
If we didn't have the African Wild Dog already, I'm sure it would have been very high-up on the wishlist.

I would rather pay for a rework of these two than getting 5 new canines species for free. The time is more well spent there.
