DLSS support in Elite Dangerous to improve VR SS.

Hi Elite D crew

I'm very interested in knowing if you will bring DLSS support soon to ED, since I guess this could greatly improve the VR experience. My understanding is that it's not very difficult to get support through Nvidia driverse.
Well fingers crossed

Best regards

PS: Hint good way to get publicity since games that support DLSS are listed on Nvidia' site.

Honestly I'd like the Dev team to impliment vulkan into the game for better stability

yes please this is a good idea, I have suggested the same today. lets use all of our GPUs, lets get them tensor cores doing something. the poor cuda cores are doing all the work.

this will allow us to tap into the fully capabilities of the GPU while allowing us to increase the visual quality etc

many RTX card owners are probably using less then 80% of the potential full power of the GPUs due to the tensor cores not being used. DLSS being used in VR will allow us to use all of the GPU cores.

What exactly do you think DLSS would bring to VR?

The same thing it brings to games like Death Stranding: the ability to make the game look like it's running at a much higher resolution than it actually is. ED is hard to run at high resolutions in VR. My 2080 ti cannot run ED on ultra settings (the real ultra I mean, not "vr ultra" which is like medium) with high (1.5+) SS and headset quality settings with a decent framerate inside stations or on planets. I have to turn down settings and SS and still settle for 72 fps reprojected to 144hz since I can't hit 90 fps a lot of the time. DLSS would give a huge boost to clarity without tanking the performance.
