Do naked mole rats have even a remote possibility?

Idk where this thinking spawned, but our exhibits are completly massive and the animals allready get lost in them, why even larger?
It could be better for some Animals though (Iguanas and big Snakes). I think every Exhibit for a large Snake I've seen in Real Life Zoos was at least double in Length. I think the Boa Constrictor and Yellow Anaconda in the Game couldn't even lay properly on the Ground. They are basically bound to their Tree

Not double in length, rather half in height. The exhibits in PZ are huge, but their tall proportions makes them look small.

I'd still like different Sizes including larger ones (Iguanas in Walkthrough Exhibits would also be nice 🙂). They really seem a bit small for the bigger Reptiles. Smaller ones would of course also be nice for Insects, Scorpions and Spiders👍

Iguanas as habitat animals would be nice
Already planned my first Iguana Enclosure before we could even play and was a bit disappointed. We really need more Customization Options for the Exhibits. We can't even keep the Maximum Group Size of Green Iguanas if we want (I refer to the Real Life Group Size of course. In the Wild you can find way more than 2 together).
Especially now that I think about the Possibility of a Reptile Sanctuary it would be nice to be able to keep many of them together

For the mole rats, the size is ok.

Now, I think 2 more sizes would be great additions:

  1. 8×4×4 - same height, same width, double the length. Why? To fit more animals inside, maybe, like more iguanas, maybe have larger snakes inside, too
  2. 4×2×4 - same height and length. Width is halved. Kinda like the counters, how you can only reach it on one side, same concept for exhibits. Perfect for smaller species, namely bugs (I know, it's still huge, but I'm also taking technical reasons in mind, and I don't know if it's possible to go smaller)

No offense, but those are the 2 worst new options.
Exhibits need to be smaller, not bigger, if you want more just slap 2 next to each other.
Imo the best thing they could do would be something like a decal system, where you could choose a number of small exhibits, something like 0,1x0,1x0,2 m or 0,3x0,3x0,3 m that you could just integrate in other building pieces, mimiking the small vivariums you actually see at zoos.
We know the smsllest Interactable object is the small exhibit sign, so why not just make exhibits that size?
A new system like that where you could add them as decals to other building pieces would solve alot of the problems with the exhibits simply being bad building pieces and would make them alot more flexible in use.
Dunnu why i didnt have this idear before, its so simple yet such an elegant fix.
All hail the random smart moments

It would have to be a seperate kind of design for naked mole rats considering most exhibits show an underground view of tunnels and nesting areas. Example shown is Cincinnati's naked mole rat exhibit showing obvious tunnel design where looped animations would work perfect

I really doubt it. Double the length is 8m. That's bigger than most apartments. Are you sitting in a room right now? Have you ever seen a reptile exhibit that large?

Smaller is the way to go.

I'm a fan of splitting the existing exhibit into sections. Divide into up to eight 1x1x1 exhibits, or two 4x2x2 exhibits, or even four 1x1x1 and one 4x2x2 or something.

If I remember correctly though they were large enough that the Snakes could have their whole Body on the Ground without being curled up.
Smaller Exhibits might be really nice for something like a Invertebrate House🪲🦗🐌🐜🪳

I have never seen one in a zoo before (middle-european here) but i would like to have them! I would also like mice and rats. They are adorable and are common in smaller zoos here. My favorite mice exhibit hat them life in a lifesized tiny kitchen so they would sleep in a bread basket and balance on pothandles, it was adorable.

Naked mole-rats are definitely high on my list as I once spent over 30 minutes being fascinated by them at my local zoo. I think they would work fine in the current exhibit system. What it would basically be is having four sides where you can see tunnels. If you just want to see one, simply cover the other walls as we do with most exhibits anyway.

If it is anything like the image @Captain Callum shared, these exhibits are not even that different from the desert exhibits where we also see animals underground. The main difference is that the underground part becomes a bit bigger.

The main problem will be that the animals have to move, but even if just one or two mole rats run around at a time, this is already enough. Most of them will be sleeping or sitting still somewhere anyway.

That Exhibit sounds awesome. I'd like to see Brown Rats in the Game but I would be also happy with a Species of Giant Pouched Rat which is probably wanted by more Players

Well, the 'no mammals' issue is settled with the bats and, honestly, naked mole rats seem like they'd be a fairly easy animal to create - looped animation would hardly show (as they go in and out of visiblity all the time in their tunnels) and the new exhibit size suggest they are contemplating the thought that exhibits can be different sizes. I think the only thign that might be a problem is that naked mole rats sleep in groups/cluster busily together etc and they'd need to make some 'group' animations and they've not ... shown great interest in having animals interact with each other in this game.
