Do station rescue missions still occure in Legacy Horizons ?

We're thinking about returning to Elite and my wife would like to try those rescue missions, the ones where you have to evacuate people from stations after thargoid attacks.

Do events like these still fire in LH or only ED:H now?

No stations are being attacked by Thargoids in Legacy any more, it's all only happening in Live now. This can be quickly checked by looking at the galaxy map in whatever game version you are in (you may need to enable the relevant display options in the galaxy map to see affected systems).

That's a shame, especially as station attacks were going on long before EDO but thank you very much all the same.

Yes - Legacy pretty much works as a full game, but with no narrative, no CGs and Thargoid action is not exactly happening in Legacy, unless you specifically go look for it in Pleiades or in other thargoid infested areas (and No incursions happening nor system attacks IIRC)

yes
everything is in the game

well, everything that doesnt require human touch from FDev - like, as i said, narrative (cg, galnet articles) or other mechanics like thargoid incursions or system attacks that could lead to a non-functional bubble if left unopposed.
