Does any voice thing work with the comms

A big reason I do not play open all the time is I find it hard to communicate.
Is there anything out now that turns speech to text for ingame?
If not it would be a cool feature to add

There is a command via voiceattack that would let you type via speech. For the life of me I can't remember how to set it up though!

I used to have it set up (with voice attack and hcs voice pack) where I would say "message local" or "message direct" and it would let me dictate direct to the chat box. Only catch was I had to manually hit send.

As one player so eloquently put it if ED has gone for "the lone insignificant pilot in a small spaceship effect" they sure have succeeded

Agreed with those who say ED its a single player, but only because it has no VOICE CHAT too multiplayer with ! , who's going to type and fly ? think it out FDEV

Proximity Chat; a 1km spherical radio bubble, transmitted by all ships, (Carriers are hubs) all within the 1km bubble can talk with each other, closer too each other, clearer the sound, until you fly out of the bubble.

*If you think I'm repeating myself over different threads YOU ARE RIGHT , but instant voice Chat is needed

Isn't there a voice chat option within the game already though? I know all it does is initiate a voip call to a selected player rather than a proximity radio bubble as you suggest, but it's workable if playing with friends.

I used voice attack macros for simple messages, like "Hello Cmdr" or "Fly safe" etc.
Don't use them any more, I usually have time to type a quick message.
