Does Anybody Know How Large Update 8 is please?

Does anybody know how large Update 8 is please, as I'm only on 4Mb ADSL and want to know if I'll need overnight (or longer) to download it.

It's always a problem as Frontier never publish the size of updates, which is not good for those of us on slow connections.

Horizons (Steam) is 792MB. Odyssey (Standalone) I can't tell, as the launcher just hangs (Windows 11) after clicking the upgrade button.

EDIT: no, it just takes ages to initialize (100Mbit connection here). It obviously thinks it'll take about 25mins in total, who knows.

Just downloaded it. Estimated time for downloading was I think 11 minutes, but was done in less then that, possibly about 5.

I'm very happy for you. However I chose to sacrifice my Internet speed (until they finish fibre here) so I could live in a 350 year old cottage in the middle of the French countryside

My download speed here is about 110mbps, but I can upgrade to about 9 times that - for a price!

Took me under a minute to download on 1gig fibre

Update 8 is big, really big, you just wouldn't believe just how big update 8 is, I mean you might think it's a long down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to update 8
