Newcomer / Intro Does anyone still use Multi-Crew?

And, if so, what do you use it for?

On the loading screen it says to invite another CMDR to join your adventures, can you use Multi-Crew in Odyssey so that they can join you on foot in another part of the galaxy?

Or what else can you use it for?

I don’t use it but if I had an alt I might crew up with it to gain an extra “pip”.

From what i can tell multicrew is used quite a fair bit in the AX activities, especially near spires.
(i take some of my friends abourd and let them fly a fighter; cheaper and good practice)


It is indeed possible to telepresence from across the galaxy. -whether it is possible to disembark i do not know.

Before I had a FC, I used MC to trade EDO mats between my commanders. I have no use for it now, all three commanders live on my FC now.

Used it recently to ''coach'' a newer player and explain some principles, also to do a bit of tourism further than their jumprange or permit locked areas.
