Does replaying a Chaos Theory mode reset the progress?

Hello,
it has been a long time since I've been here.I just finished the first Chaos theory mode and unlocked every dinosaur and everything in the research tab. I wanted to show a friend the cool intro but there is a warning that all autosaves will be erased, so I was not sure if it will reset my progress. Does anyone have insight on that?

Hi there!

You can go back and continue playing a Chaos Theory level, but only by reloading a save. Selecting the level from the Main Menu will restart the level and reset your progress.
