Does Squadrons treat members or allies as a large wing? F-Dev get in here!

Sounds like you heard what you wanted to hear. Sandro hasn't been on the team for quite a while, so that was probably around a year ago, and i don't recall him saying anything like that - squadrons were always about group chat, and that's about all they would ever do to help organuse PvP. Squad membership is also considered in instance selection, but that's about it.

I'm aware of Sandro leaving. I put a thread up about it where it became apparent a lot of other people weren't.

I recall it being remarked upon somewhere. I'd better do some checks.

Considering people didn't even pick up on Ed telling the community who did watch the recent live stream that Samarco was out, I could still be right about picking up on this remark regarding large scale PvP situations. Who knows...

I don't think this was the specific video. I must do a hunt.

Squadrons sounds like a waste of time since people who are interested in PvP get together via their friends lists anyway. It doesn't sound like it enhances anything where group fights are concerned.

Like I've said, I think Squadrons should allow for fellow squadron members and allies to be tagged as friendlies, so cross fire is not regarded as hostile.

It will be ridiculous if large PvP engagements are still full of this nonsense. Especially where anyone forgets to toggle their crimes setting.

A waste of time for you. Surprisingly, most people couldnt care less about what you think is essential. Squadrons has nothing to do with large-scale pvp battles.

You know what I meant by it, with regards to that oversight and feature. Squadrons was perfect to remedy this.
