Does system chat cross game versions?

I play mostly Horizons. I notice the system wide chat is very active in CH system, are these all Horizon players or does Odyssey system chat also bleed into Horizons?

I have had conversations in in-game text chat with friends in Horizons while I was in Odyssey (we were also in different modes). Not sure about system chat, though I do believe we all use the same chat servers.

If you type /system (on PC) in the chat box then everything you send crosses into every PC game mode and version in that system (open/solo/pg and Hor 4.0/Ody/Hor 3.8).

if this bug is still active, no, they cannot see what you type in another system, but you still get the chat from the system you left (just left or left it some time ago)
