Doesn't feel good when you make really detailed plans how to first map things in your favorite system... and you just fail because of server issues and not because someone was faster.

I am not feeling that bad as I actually did it (mapped some things in Shinrartha), but I was right about to sell second batch of discoveries (4 planets this time) when servers collapsed.

Well, at least I've got for what I came for.

eh, no.. not exactly, chances are nothing was saved... Soz..

If you sell the data and get a notification about it, being First Discoverer/mapper etc., then the data have been saved on the server, as the entire thing relies on server transactions.
