Long time PC player here, and I can confirm the Dolphin is an absolute hoot to fly. Plus it can be very lucrative. Just be sure to check the distance on that 15M Cr sightseeing tour...!
Short jaunt to Sagittarius A*? No problem
Pardon my stupidity, would I just type that into the search so as to plot it. It's just Sagittarius A or do I need the astrick. Once there, just go to outfitting correct.
Sagittarius A* is the huge black hole at the centre of the Galaxy. It's a popular tourist destination (there's even a visitor beacon there) but there are no stations there, and it's something in the order of 22,000 Ly away.
I got a Dolphin yesterday and immediately fell in love. Not only with the look of the ship, but the first mission I took with it was for $6m space bucks! So the ship immediately paid for itself. Some of the tourist missions took me to some amazing places.

True enough, if you can find one, and then upgrade it. I've done 100's of missions to get my 10 million extra, which didn't include my transfer to a t6 in which case allowed me t make more per trip. I've taken the time at every place available to check the ship yards and haven't found one yet. Can't upgrade something ya ain't got.
Once again, should anyone know of where I can go seriously to buy and upgrade a Dolphin, please respond. I've got a a box full of Snicker Bars waiting for ya.
There are Internet sites which do the hard work for you, but take a little bit of fun out of it ...
Personally, I don't think you need 10 mill. I bought mine when I had just 6 mill and apart from changing the cabins around to poverty class, I ran with it straight from the showroom and made millions within hours. Ive since upgraded a few things but im still way off 10 mill.
I used the shipyard forum at the start of this thread. found one within 5 jumps of where I was.
Such a good way to make money, taking passengers.
I wish the Dolphin had been out when I was going from the T6. I went to the T7, then the Python.

is that tactical grey? looks very smart. I went with wayfinder pack but find them a bit bright lol
I think theres 3? Vibrant, tactical and wayfarer?
The wayfarer (which i went for) is basically just the vibrant colours but areas of colour over white. None of them are that great and im almost preferring the standard white. The grey above looks quite posh though.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions of internet links, but how does one buy from an independent web site and apply it to the game on a ps4. I've checked them out and though they list the system they don't list the station one has to be at. Is one supposed to be a subscriber, select a ship and it just appears in my game or what.
I wish you could sort the PS4 store beyond the very basic sorting at the top like you can the main PC one.
Finding packs for specific ships is a case of scrolling through the whole store until you spot it. The PC you can filter for ship, colour of PJ etc, finding stuff is considerably easier.

That's a 3rd party website, correct. Just register (free) and then open it up yourself and enter the station you are at. It will then tell you where the nearest dolphin (or whatver ship you want) seller is (along with other info about the shipyard). You then go into the game, search for the stations it suggests (using galaxy map) and plot a course. The two aren't linked, its just a useful external tool.
Worked perfectly for me after searching every yard I ended up in randomly, which is why i started the thread. Turns out there was one 5 jumps from where I started.
