Don't show red arrow down for reputation decay

Since it happens automatically, regardless of what we do, even regardless of whether we play at all, please don't show me half a dozen red downward arrows for a major faction and its related minor factions. It not only is quite depressing, it also distracts from reputation loss due to player action. I can't even tell any more whether my own actions causes this red arrow, or the mere passage of time.

The decay is weird anyway. Our actions should be what matters, not "what have you done us this week".

Are these the little arrows next to faction names in the ship menu? I thought they were faction standing, not reputation. I agree they're confusing and should be removed. They could perhaps be shown on the system map instead.

Somewhat related, I think player reputation changes should be highlighted more clearly. If your reputation changes while you're in a system where that faction has a presence, you should get a message about it, e.g. "Thanks for your help, Commander. You are now FRIENDLY with the BG-55663 Purple Brigade."

the arrows without a relation-log to check why and for what it happened is more confusing then helping.
and due to the update delay, i often see a red down arrow when i look first at the relation panel, and if i check it again a few minutes later after beeing AFK, i suddely see upward arrows.

or i finish a mission for faction A, and when i check the relation tab, i see a red down-arrow. those are those "?" moments while playing ED

I find the automatic rep degrade arrows distracting and some times confusing. if I have just done a mission and there are red arrows on other factions, I don't know if I did something to effect my rep or not.
