Double shot or rapid fire frag cannons?

i dont care about having to synth ammo
Overcharged gets you slightly better DPS than rapid fire at a way lower ammo cost though.
but it needs more time on target, and since it's a close range weapon, that leaves me with a very, VERY small window to do damage. i'm not picking overcharged.

Unless you're running some autofire macro the only way you can hammer the button fast enough to take advantage of rapid fire is if you're using turreted. Overcharged is fast enough to slam out three shots in a pass against just about anything.

frags are slow to fire


edit: i was wrong. they fire quite fast. but rapid fire reduces reload time too
 
Overcharged for normal use, double shot for ganking. Rapid fire if you can keep very high ToT, if not overcharged has more damage. Screening shell for faster reloads, again good for ganking. I use incendiary pacifiers on my Conda as it strips shields like nothing. You need a corrosive effects weapon (frag or mc) too for the hull.
