downloading steam workshop items

It's downloaded the moment you subscribe. You should see whatever is downloaded in the corresponding tab in the game.

It depends on which workshop you subscribe.
If you subscribe to items from the PlanetCoaster Alpha Workshop, the blueprint will only be available in Planet Coaster Alpha.
And the same for the Planet Coaster Workshop.
So you are not able download blueprints from the alpha workshop to the beta-version of Planet Coaster.
I just have to upload all my blueprints again to the new workshop to make them available for the beta version.

So when Alpha stops working, the workshop items can no longer be accessed so it's up to the creators to move them over to the new workshop? How do I move an Alpha workshop item into Beta? Do I have to go into Alpha and resave it or are there external files in the game directories that I can move over to Beta?

All your own blueprints are saved on your PC, and this folder was automatically transferred into the beta game.
The folder is: C:\Users\YourNameHere\Saved Games\FrontierDevelopements\Planet Coaster\...
Nevertheless, we have 2 workshops now: 1 for PC Alpha, and another one for PC beta/final release. So, yes, I have to upload my old blueprints to the new workshop now, to make them available to use them in the beta. It has something to do with the steam workshop.

So I downloaded a file from the Alpha workshop that isn't in the regular PC workshop, how do I get it into Beta? Do I have to load Alpha, open an empty park, place the item down and resave it as a new blueprint to move it over to Beta? Because the Alpha workshop items will eventually be deleted from the workshop. There are some really cool haunted house blueprints in the Alpha workshop that I wanted to download into Beta and they aren't available in the regular PC workshop.

I noticed this iin my "alpha parks" as well. But when I used the blueprints and saved them again (without changing" in the beta version, then it worked. Very strange...

I somehow don't have a single blueprint from alpha popping up in Beta or whatever. And im sure everything had been stored locally.
