As an Aussie, the Download will probably pop up at around 11pm-12am local time. So I will probably get the download started, head off to bed &....fingers crossed....it will be complete by the time I get up the next day!

Although I tend to download these while I am sleeping, they do appear to take a good deal of time based on the telemetry after the fact.
Steam seems to be faster than using the launcher. No idea why that is, but after suffering from some odd launch corruption last year, I only use the Steam Client for downloads now. Steam doesn't like it when you subvert it's control and download updates outside of the Steam client using the ED launcher.
