Drinking water

Do we know yet if animals will drink from the water? In looking at each of the screenshots, it looks like there's artificial water sources in each of the enclosures... Even when there's a natural source (e.g., a small body of water) available.

If not, that would be a really cool update/addition down the line!

At least some species do drink from it, yes! (I believe the narrator in the tutorial scenario also explicitly says so when she's teaching you how to add a pool of water.)

I have an enclosure with numerous species, and I have noticed one drinking from the pond and have received notcification that another isn't happy that the water was dirty. ( i had removed the water filter and forgot to replace it). But I have also seen at least one animal drinking from the water dispenser in that enclosure as well.

Animals will drink from ponds if added to exhibits, I know this due to the fact that my zookeepers go into the enclosure, and walk out without refilling food or water.. Also, my tapirs kept complaining how the water in their exhibit was dirty and tasted bad.

Well, that's something! I just hope that we don't need those water dispensers if there's a body of water in the exhibit.

I have 'natural' water in all of my exhibits and no water dispensers and have had no issues. You do need to make sure the slope is gentle enough and there is a water filter.
