Maybe i'm stupid but how come is there no way to start or even access this area for new players in Horizons? Support was utterly useless and pulled a ubisoft by copy and pasting a response. Any advice on how to access it in Horizons?

There was a thread about this recently, afaik start in Odyssey. No clue why the change was made.

General - Please make the Pilots' Federation District available again, or remove it entirely
After Update 14 it is no longer possible start a new game within the Pilot's Federation District (starting sector). The only available options are Asellus Primus, or LHS 3447, if the game is started without Odyssey. So currently, there are a bunch of systems that can never be entered by anyone...
Yeah its not odyssey, just the live, not legacy either. legacy you start there
That's too bad, I really liked those areas to start in and was happy to revisit them some time ago when I started an alt. @Paul_Crowther and/or @sallymorganmoore can you confirm if it's the intent with Odyssey to not use the "old" starter systems from Legacy anymore? Or is this a bug that needs reportin'?
