Yeah, it's just blue = where it could be. The different shades don't mean anything as far as that's concerned. With biologicals it's about knowing what tends to grow in what circumstances, ie. osseus like rocks so you won't normally find them on the flat. Not sure if similar logic has been applied with geologicals now or it's just random as I haven't gone looking for them since Odyssey.I think the dark blue just means the erm conditions for life are high in that region?
and is in no way a proof of life...………….
what annoys me is we could detect it within minutes with our current tech probably if in a low orbit
never one drop of rain on Arrakis or any where else for that matter

That really works? Certainly beats walking around...fly at 50-100m over the surface with 60 km/h and look around with your eyeball and you will find some in this blue areas
