Hi all DSSA commanders!
I'm in the process of topping up my carrier, the Wandering Star, before I set off for an extremely long expedition. I'm planning to visit in one trip all the sectors of the Galaxy, which to my knowledge no carrier is attempting at the moment.
I had already started something similar, having done a whole circumnavigation first, and the round of the inner arms later. It was in the middle of that when carriers were announced, so I came back to grind some more cash and I'm now ready to travel again.
Anyway, my route should look like this (apologies if it looks busy/confusing):
Now, for a long time, I had another route planned. In that route I had to backtrack a lot and keep passing by Bubble/Explorer's Anchorage and Colonia to minimize the time I would spend mining.
Then like out of a dream, the DSSA popped up, and hopefully this would make my life much easier, if I can count on your support.
I would like to stop at every DSSA carrier anyway, just to pass by and say hello. It's nice to have milestones to look forward to.
In fact, this post is more a way to introduce myself than anything else.
But it would be great if I could buy Tritium at every stop, so that I could reduce mining to a bare minimum (no time at all would be perfect). Would this be possible? I think it would be around 5-6000 tons per stop, more or less.
I've seen the list of all your carriers deployed or about to be, but I still have a couple of questions:
- what's the best way to find and communicate with each carrier's owner? Knowing if and how much tritium is available would make my own planning much easier.
- Can I join (if needed) the DSSA discord or is it reserved to fleetcomm members? (I'm in Canonn by the way).
- Do you have any recommendation/advice that I haven't thought of?
Thanks, I hope to see you all out in the Black.
For everyone else, my carrier is fitting refuel/repair and Armory for every explorer to enjoy, so if you've landed like a potato yet again and the next DSSA carrier is too far away to repair your hull feel free to drop by.
