DSSA Eleanor - Gateway to Route 33

Try to find LTD/Tri hotspots overlap.

Yes, I know, I must be trolling because it's not possible that BROKEN hotspots math after the last patch has some POSITIVE side effects.
Do I really have to record a video to convince someone with NO OTHER solution to just check what his prospectors will find in an Tri/LTD overlap?

PS you can try LTD hotspots too: there are reports of 150t/h Tri SSD mined in such spots.
Of course you can just wait till FD "patches the patch".
It's your choice.

23rd July - Day 45
Whilst adrift, we took the opportunity to give as much of the carrier a clean as we could.
it appears we had a faulty fuel tank sensor. A bit of scrubbing with an oily rag rag has resulted in Engineering reporting that we actually had an additional 1000t of Tritium available to us.

We took the decision to press on, leaving our double Tritium hotspot behind.
Due to the ongoing issues We have seen, we have altered our expedition path, taking in Colonia to allow a market refill of our tanks.
We finished the day 2500ly further down the track and have docked in Ratraii.
We will be staying here whilst the Carrier undergoes a full overhaul.

3rd Aug - Day 56. Shore leave is over. All staff to please return to their posts.

Engineering feel that they have worked through the issues that we were seeing in the mining vessels and we should be able to proceed again. A preliminary mining team headed out for a brief run and have reported back that mining levels appear to returned to manageable levels.
It’s not clear why markets in Colonia haven’t recovered yet so I doubt we’ll be able to pre-load the hold with any significent amounts of Tritium but at least we’ll moving again.

Planned departure : Thu 6th Aug.

6th Aug - Day 59. A good day jumping today. Just under 3500ly covered. Fuel tanks have been emptied.
We have finished for the day in a system with icy rings. Will be looking tomorrow to evaluate whether it is better to mine for more Tritium or push on using the reserves.

9th Aug - Day 62. jumping continues on track. Thankfully the mining fix appears to be holding. In the process of refilling the tanks. We’ve been reviewing the expedition route and realised that our next waypoint will coincide with the eventual position of the HSRC Limpet’s Call. They left Colonia a month ahead of us so should be in place before we get there.

10th Aug - Day 63. A good day mining. An evening mining the icy rings around a planet in Scheau PRI XV-E C27-1132 has generated a good haul. Gone from low single figure tonnage in the fuel tanks to just over half full. With two commanders securing fuel, it makes sense to suspend jumping until the tanks are filled.

11th Aug - Day 64. Mining continues. It appears that we have hit an icy ring with a high proportion of SSD Tritium so mning is a pleasure at the moment. Most, if not all, asteroids contain Tritium with a high number of them containing sub surface Tritium. Our journey to WP7 is going to take in another DSSA initiative Carrier. For a minor detour, we should be able to join up with the NECFC Muninn. It'll be good to see a fellow DSSA carrier out in the black.

13th Aug - Day 66. Made it to the NECFC Muninn. They have taken up position in a very nice system. As an added bonus, they have a market full of Tritium so our miners can have a few days off whilst the haulers take over an restock the tanks.

16th Aug - Day 69. Tanks are filled and plotting the next leg has started in Earnest. The NECFC Muninn was not on the original route but provided a nice relief. Looking for other DSSA Carriers close to the journey route that we can similarly drop in on.

17th Aug - Day 70 - halfway there.
Today saw the milestone of us crossing the halfway point. It is now closer to destination than origin.

18th Aug - Day 71 - Made it to Waypoint 7 - The Cerulean Tranquility
As suspected, the HSRC Limpet's Call was there ahead of us. We dropped out of hyperspace and started orbiting the same planet in the system to be greeted by the pleasant surprise of the HRSC ARF Mechanicus also being present.
9000ly+ in two days. Our journey from Colonia to WP 7 took in a dog leg to wing past the NECFC Muninn and the Hayholt.
The Engineers are gettng a bit of well deserved shut eye and tomorrow, we'll head over to see what's what.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm still not that far from Waypoint Nine, so I think I'll Buckyball it back there for the rendezvous. I was planning on a deep space rendezvous, but at the rate you're going, I think this'll be the safer option. I have a lot of data I want to sell. :D

Be careful Buckyballing, especially if you have a lot of exploration data to cash in.
i was planning to leave for WP8 tonight. It’s only 7 more jumps so I should get it done in a single session. Having refuelled at the NECFC Muninn and the latest fuel jump economy numbers, we are not having to stop for mining at this stage.
We can / will wait for you at wp9.

(sees edit)

Don't worry. I'm an experienced Buckyballer, and while my motto may be "If you're not willing to damage your ship, you're not really in a hurry," I'm not about to overheat my ship just to shave off a few seconds per jump. I merely meant that I'll be backtracking my path, so I won't be tempted to stop and explore.

See you at Waypoint Nine!

19th Aug - day 72 - made it to WP8

Fuel levels are looking good. Will spend the day sight seeing and then resume travel onto WP9 tonight.
judging by the distance, it’ll be a two day journey. (Arriving Friday night)

I arrived at Waypoint Nine last night. I usually return home from work by 22:00 UTC. I’d love to be in a position to record the DSSA Eleanor’s arrival. 📹

Many of the landable worlds here have biological signals on them. I only visited one. I’m going to visit the rest tonight.

See you Friday!

Challenge accepted.
I'll have to reverse engineer my jump trajectory.
Spansh is telling me that I am 10 jumps from WP9 which is more than I can do in one night (family commitments).
I'll get as far as I can tonight and advise when on Friday I would expect to jump into WP9. - Pencil in 22:30 UTC (23:30 UK) at this stage

It’s probably easiest to coordinate on this page. We’re cross platform IIRC, so we won’t be able to communicate in the game. :(

Thank you for the safe port!

It was a relief to get ship repaired and properly serviced... to the tune of 400k! While there, I also got the life support systems flushed and refilled. The water filters were looking kind of greenish-gray, and let's not even talk about what's been coming out of the food synthesizer lately!

My crew and I are staying overnight for some badly needed R&R. It'll be nice to sleep somewhere other than our quarters on the ship. It's also nice to talk to different people. Not to mention the food!!!

All my exploration data has been sold, but I must say that EDSM's estimate turned out to be disappointingly accurate. ;) Still, even with your cut, it turned out to be a lot of money, and I still have a long journey ahead before we return home. :)

Tomorrow, I'm off to the Four Corner's Monument. May your journey be safe, and exactly as eventful as you want it to be.

o7, Commander!

23rd Aug 3306 - day 76. Leaving Waypoint 9 and the realities safety of populated space.
we are now heading to the barren space with very few potential sources of Tritium available to us.
We are also leaving behind the DSSA network that has been our company since le@ving Colonia.
The next waypoint is ~ 4900 ly (approximately 10 jumps).
Hatches are buttoned down. Ships are secured. Tanks have been refilled from hold stock. Everyone is strapped in.
Hit it.

24th Aug 3306 - day 77.
Made really good progress and made it to waypoint 10 early evening. Decided against hanging around. Quick photo for the folks back home and then continued on.
Fuel reserves have been checked. With the new efficiency, we should have enough to make it to our destination without the need to stop to mine again.
Flight control is saying 23 more jumps.
Wish us luck.
