SecretDragon, recording my adventures as I travel across the galaxy with Distant Worlds 2. As many of you know, I’m a galaxy famous and well renown rogue archaeologist. I’m also a famous actor and musician, I’ve been reviewed in three news magazines on at least three different worlds. An example of those reviews is “good”. I’m also traveling with my group of understudies, who are learning how to be a great explorer as well as a musician and actor. They are some of the best students the galaxy has to offer, I’ve yet to get cold coffee from any one of them!
Today I set off on my adventure after delaying from the launch in order to completely legally acquire Guardian blueprints and schematics to create a Frame Shift Drive Booster. It was, of course, an easy task for me. Anyway, I first made my way out to The View. It was one of the quicker journeys I’ve taken. As I was landing by the tourist beacon there, my throttle had a slight malfunction and my ship was not slowing down in time. Luckily I am an excellent pilot and was able to maneuver so that it was not a destructive landing. My hull dropped to 35%. It’s a good thing I’m such a good pilot, because I had to take only one escape pod with me in order to increase my jump distance to acceptable levels. It would have been quite crammed with me and all my students in there!
This was, of course, a great learning experience for my students. Over the sounds of their screams of joy, they got to see how a true pilot reacts to a dangerous situation. A necessary skill if they are to one day be pilots themselves. One of my students, Shaena Cliffmaker, was crying tears of relief once I had the ship safely landed. In fact, she continued to cry up until the moment the Hull Seals repaired my ship.
And what a great job the Hull Seals have done! My ship is flying better than ever, and I think they even managed to fix what was wrong with my throttle. Now I’m making my way to Thor’s Eye, and after that, the Cinnabar Moth Nebula. Then It’s off to the Omega Nebula to meet up with other pilots! Also when I’m there I’m going to see if I can earn some extra credits by putting on a play at the Omega Mining Station. I’m sure they’d love to hear all about my exploits. Also, they’ll get to see how a true actor can act while wearing a tinted flight helmet. I have to, of course, keep my true identity a secret due to some unsavory liars who wish to ruin my reputation.
That’s all for now, I’m sure my next log will be even more amazing.
