One too many sherbets tonight but I've been toying with the idea of a parallel to DW3 in the pre v4.0 galaxy since DW3 proper was announced. I was waiting for someone else to suggest it, and told myself I wouldn't do it unless we had a friend with a carrier for support. I finished grinding out The Spirit of the Void (currently anchored in Hun Ahaw) a couple of weeks ago, so here I am.
Half of my ED play is still PS5, but I'm planning on attending DW3 with my CMDR's Live alter-ego. I've done some exploring, all PS5 -- a recent circumnavigation bootstrapped the FC grind. Not been here long enough to experience any organised expeditions, though.
I'm not committing to anything yet because I'd like to get an idea of what that actually means -- I've got two jobs, three kids, and one house mid-resto. I'm also not thinking about organising events around the expedition. But right now I'm resisting the temptation to just fill the hold of the FC with tritium and wander off for as long as it's fun, but it seems like a missed opportunity not to do something bigger while this place is still here. Exploration is one of the things that still works.
