:D I just installed it and never bothered to actually play lol

The thing is despite most of the advertising and box art showing a male Shepard, many believe the female Shepard voice acting by Jennifer Hale is far superior to the male Shepard voice acting of Mark Meer.

The first game to be brutally honest looks somewhat dated and is a very typical RPG. The story isn't too bad, but there are some annoying aspects to it.

The second one changes some things and is a much reduced story and pretty much goes on collecting team members, doing missions to try and gain their loyalty and then the big finale.

The third one is much like the second in gameplay and is the big final conflict. It has it's moments, but is much more melancholy in tone and don't get people started on the endings. Some people still haven't forgiven Bioware for them.

ME2's story is superior in my opinion, but a lot of little things work better if you've played ME1 first. My main party members through 1 were Garrus and Wrex, so you can imagine the look on my face when I got to meet Archangel in 2.

Gameplay isn't the strongpoint of any of them IMO. Although ME3's multiplayer is actually very good, which was a pleasant surprise.

IMO the ME2 is best game ever. Honestly. Fantastic intro, fantastic end - and great great gameplay between. :) Just had to say this.

For me game quality: ME2 >> ME > ME3

This is all very well, but why no love for bacon flavoured snacks?

It's very puzzling...

1) Female Shepard all the way - Jennifer Hale's voice acting was great.
2) Mass Effect II was the best of the series for the whole 'Seven Samurai' vibe (and Salarian Gilbert and Sullivan :) ). Three was good, but after painting all of the Reapers as 'independent islands' in the first, only to go down the networked 'Deus Ex Machina' in the third was a disappointment. But meh. All good games. :)

Begging your pardon my good man, but have you just read OP and skipped the mix of savoury over-flavoured and starchy snack and Old Skool 80 home computing gibberish perchance.....Oh for-shame sir, for-shame! :)

I had to read that twice to understand it ;)

I did skip all the lsd induced artwork yeah.

Sweet (well savoury TBH) lordy lawks Rog, you have righteously tickled the old taste-buds there Sir. A more proky preponderance of rectangular undulating loveliness you will not find outside of a heat sealed foil plastic bag this side of the Wanstead Flats dear chap.

So popular are they, that I hear Waitrose are selling an Essential Pancetta version in their salty food isle! :)

This was my first and greatest video game system. The one system to rule them all. Brb going to give my feet a shave........
