Easier copy/paste from external tools

With the CG for exploration data I learnt that these external tools where you copy/paste into the system map are great on the PC, but a PITA on console. As I play on xbox and it always put me off, UNTIL I discovered the following. Obviously not saying I'm the first, and yes I'm probably slow to the party, but it really made a difference with external tools and the Xbox......

  1. If you have a PC, make sure you have the Xbox Console Companion App installed. If you have a Mac or Linux, use a Windows VM with the App installed
  2. Connect the App to the console, then open the virtual controller in the App which will show a virtual Xbox controller interface, with representations of the buttons etc. Leave this open all the time.
  3. Now, whenever you open a screen on your Xbox that has text input/on-screen keyboard, it will open a text input box on the virtual controller on the Xbox Companion App!
Copy a system from a browser, paste into the text input box in the App, done! I worked split-screen, browser docked on the left and Companion App docked on the right, works a treat
