How do you get the GalNet News Text into the Text-to-Speech software? I am really curious about it because we could use it for a radio chattermod when the NPCs are talking with you maybe with an Hologram of a face ^^ when they speak.

This is a quick tutorial on how to create command that opens galnet:
1. you will need to create a new command with the following:

• Title: this is just for definition purposes, this has nothing to do with the voice recognition.
• command text: this is where you need to add what are you going to say, you can add more than one option.

2. select "Predefined" from the "Select Sequence Type" list. because this is a custom command for ED.

3. here you can select the game which is related to this custom action, in ourcase now it's ED. Then hit save to add this action to the sequence list that will be executed.

4. Now you have a command with a single action to execute which is opening galnet.

Repeat the previous steps to add command for all the galnet news commands. the option you will miss will not be displayed on the GUI it will be blank, so make sure you add all if you want to use all galnet options.

Don't worry if it does now show in the "Existing Commands" tab ... this is the bug i was talking about earlier. if you restart the app it should appear. this is fixed but still waiting for publish.

I really like your approach on the styling on the HUD. It's not overbearing, colors complement nicely, minimalist approach. All good things.

Same issue here. No plus sign to choose from list of Predefined after Predefined is selected.

The "+" step is step number 3 not 4 ... if so you u need to select "Predefined" then press the "+" to choose which predefined command you want to add.... let me know if this is the case.

I am selecting 'Predefined' in the 'Select Sequence Type' box, but I get no '+' option as shown on your diagram!

Unfortunately, not the case on my end, Olkan. When selecting "Predefined" from the drop-down list, no "+" symbol appears. I'm unable to move through to the next steps as what you have displayed on your tutorial doesn't seem to appear on my end. I'll include example pic.

[Fixed] Uses where unable to view saved commands after pressing "Save Changes" in the command builder.
[Fixed] Issue for some users where unable to add any sequence types details.

[Fixed] Combination Keys under "Key Input Sequence" had some UI issues.
[Update] Home screen now displays a microphone idicator, the selected speech voice, and system recognition language.

Installation
1- It's better to uninstall the current app and re-download this version from the launcher.
2- Redownload Echo from the redownload button in the home page.

The best would be a such interface, controlled with Tobii EyeX and voice, while using TrackIR in game *-*

I thought I would give it a go before work and although I am doing as mentioned above it is now saying ALERT The system cannot find the specified file. This didnt happen in 1.0 so I guess its a new issue? Thanks for the commands though I did add them in the folder mentioned. If you can get this working I will try again tonight. Good luck!

P.S. I should mention I tried it with Elite running and not running and I had the same response. Perhaps its because I have Elite on my SSD and not the default steam location?

Very nice got version 1.0.1 working without majors issues. Few things I would love to see in the program. Remember username and password as an option. Being able to position the GUI a bit. On my screen, which is an ultra wide screen 3440x1440, The Galnet box covers the target and target info area making both hard to see since I used the same color blue in my Elite HUD. A why to get a list of GalNet news articles instead of cycling through them with a way to request a certain news article. Same with the radio.

A bug I noticed. Was listening to Galnet news, told it to stop, I noticed the stop switched to resume. I asked it for the next news item and the resume stayed even though it started to read the news item. "Stop" did work and corrected the visual state from there.
