ED free on the XBox for the gamers of PC ?

What a pointless comment. Yeah good idea, lets start yet another "console vs PC" argument. Nice flamebait, it worked.

Basically mate i own an alienware laptop, an alienware desktop and an xbox one. When it comes to online games, i would play them all on my xbox in a heartbeat given the choice. No hackers, almost no bugs, no compatibility issues, no hassle.

Also the PC is not a definitive edition unless you have the over the top PC specs to make it so, and it simply doesn't. Further to that, the xbox easily has the specs required to run it, so there is actually no difference. We aren't talking star citizen here. Its ED.

HA! Scrub can't even custom build. Seriously though, you can easily get computers that can run Elite at Ultra. My friends AMD computer uses a AMD 770 4GB and can run Elite: Dangerous at Ultra*60fps. That's a £500 computer. Alien computers can cost 4000.......

Same universe, yes. Same instance, I doubt it.

Think of it as two separate private groups, and the only way to cross form one to the other is to play on a PC or XBone.

Or, at least, that is my theory...

people who don't do research only have issues with building computers, there are various websites with builds that are fully compatible with eachother. PCpartpicker being one.

VERY GOOD site to learn everything you want to know about pc components and building your pc.

I very much welcome the addition of Elite Dangerous to the xBox platform.
More players = more revenue for Frontier = more development for everyone.
But, it would be SO much better if PC, Mac and xBox (and eventually PS4) players could all meet in the same instance. This would really make it feel much more like a living breathing universe with real people playing together. Knowing there are other Cmdrs out there who I will never play with doesn't sit well with me.
Personally, I would forgo quicker updates to have more Cmdrs in the same universe. Definitely! The more Cmdrs the better!
