I'm familiar with HTML5, I'm more interested in how you got the coordinates to render them.

Cool to know it will eventually be open sourced however.

*edit* I looked through the JSON, and it makes sense now. The X and Y coordinates for the stars are in the JSON. This is what I was looking for.

yes... don't forget get Z axis too ;)
 
Changed how the influence's bubbles, triggered by Ctrl + click on a system, are shown on map.

I would thank Shole for the shader.

Hi,


I've added a couple of new functionalities to the map:

- added the possibility to save default/initial scene situation
- added the possibility to save multiple scene preset
- added fileds of camera and targeted position




These funcitonality can be found as shown in the attached image below:

Update: I'm hoping that other tool authors are considering having their (relevant) threads move to here also.

UPDATES ( 29 Jan '16 ) :
- the outfitting's function now it colors correctly the systems by bulkhead considering also ships type
- added the possibility to change the radius of influence's bubbles triggered by Ctrl + click on a system
