EDDI: How do I shut this thing up?

I want to use EDDI to integrate all of my Elite Dangerous gameplay but this thing won't SHUT UP!

First, I already disabled a lot of the ship's COVAS responses because I do not need to be told I have entered Hyperspace, etc.
I also have an HCS Voice Pack (Eli) which tells me pretty much everything I need to know so,

How do I shut off the EDDI voice and retain the integration features?

Under the Speech Responder Tab there is an option to disable individual responses or disable the plugin completely. That should stop the audio responses.

I've found EDDI can bank up quite a bit at times and just not shut up, but normally its not too bad (but granted I dont run VA which would likely compound the issue).

I run both and it seems reasonable in most instances for what I do, but you can select which triggers respond as described above as long as you copy the default personality using the button on the bottom.

Once you have a new personality you'll be able to uncheck any nagging responses or as stated above you can just disable the plugin.

Just select what you want in the relevant tabs.

OK, I found it, thanks. Though the UI in my version of EDDI looks a little different. Man, Going through the list I think I disabled them ALL. So yours responds in ASTRA's voice? I wonder why mine does not respond in ELI's voice. "Eli" and/or "Singularity" does not even appear in the Active Personality pull-down menu. o7

EDIT: For some reason, all the check-marks came back. Annoying, so I just disabled the plugin, see if that kills it.

No mine responds in a custom voice that I purchased (forgot the name, not cheap) ASTRA is on my voice attack profile.

I feel like the default Voice Responder personality isn't very well tuned to the new exploration mechanics yet, it easily gets backed up when scanning a system in the FSS. Way to many information.

I'm using Astra on the Singularity vap and have EDDI using the Microsoft Zira Desktop voice on Win 10.

Set Speed of Speech to 1, Level of processing to 0

Sometimes I can't tell which one is responding

I've dropped back to ver 3.3.4 as subsequent releases have a few issues that need to be fixed.

Currently everything is working really well on my system, but I haven't made an exploration run in a few months. EDDI can lag a bit on the response times occasionally, but I know the guys working on it hope to improve that soon.

Fortunately, it's easy to just uncheck any triggers you don't want. I've never tried it, but it looks like you could pretty easily create multiple personalities for different environments, perhaps using one for exploration and others for trade and combat.
