A quick question, I've been working on my Conflict zone scripting and was wondering if when you choose a faction to fight for if there is a journal entry that EDDI2 can pick up on for Enemy and Allied faction in said conflict?

I've been playing with the ((EDDI bond awarded)) event but it looks like {TXT:EDDI bond awarded awardingfaction} doesn't pick up the faction awarding the bonds

There are no conflict zone events, I'm afraid.

Not sure about the awarding faction missing; could you send me the journal entries where you are picking up bonds and I can take a look?

What do you do when you upgrade to the latest version of Eddi? How do you keep track of the changes made to your personality compared with the new version?

There currently isn't a way to know unless you keep personal track. Don't know how easy it would be to include a DIFF function. I've just started making minimal changes to speech responders within EDDI and instead do that within VA.

Ok I thought so. Thanks

Help, program was running fine, until i messed with the netlog monitor, now everytime i start the program i get the default windows program stopped working. close program.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no effect, i totally beleive this is my doing testing entering the path manually rather than "obtain" (If its not broke, dont fix it). Using the program with EDSM and EDDB the last week and find it very ermersive, lost without it..........

Sorted found files in appdata roaming EDDI deleted them, reinstalled EDDI and it worked.

I use voice attack with ASTRA, is it possible to use the ASTRA voice with EDDI? Currently I have the default ship voice talking to me, ASTRA, and the EDDI voice. I'd like to have only one voice talking to me. I like the ASTRA voice better, but the information from EDDI is more important to me than much of what I get from ASTRA. I have the plugin running through voice attack with no problem.

What are my options?

Edit the main ASTRA profile you use and then click on profile options. In the Include commands from another profile dropdown box, make sure EDDI is there. That will include commands from that profile even when using your main ASTRA profile.

I have everything installed and running properly. When I jump it does the speech responder appropriately. However when I scan a star or a body, it doesn't trigger the speech responder. Any ideas?

Do you have a detailed surface scanner installed?

Note, for some reason, in EDDI 2.2.1, when I use the EDSM responder, and attempt to obtain the EDSM log, it runs but seems to not obtain the complete set. Once in game, when I visit my home system/report on system, the number of visit counts is much less that what it should be. Thus, is there a way to verify correct receipt of the EDSM log to ensure the data is accurate as reported by EDDI?

The EDSM API changed. It will be fixed in the next release of EDDI.

ok I'm just sending log files via EDDI just after being in combat zone for an hr or so. I hope this is what you wanted in regards to finding why the {TXT:EDDI bond awarded awardingfaction} doesn't pick up the faction your fighting for in a combat zone.

Keeps saying uploading log failed, not sure why.

RE read your posting, send it via pm on forums

Thanks for the log, EDDI was attempting to pick up the awarding faction from the wrong key so didn't find it. This is fixed and will show up in the next release.
