For anyone having that installation issue, it could be to do with the temp install files, which I think are found here: C:/Users/[username]/AppData/Local/Apps/2.0/X7WR2EJG.B40/TCER6858.KDA/edpr..tion_8fee7e9465259bde_0001.0000_b3345a215f04d56a/EDProfiler.exe

Or somewhere similar. Do a search for EDProfiler in your Local folder. Delete the contents and try again. Let me know if it works so I can add it to the troubleshooting

Interesting, thanks for the reply. I'll have to check that out. Can that be changed on the fly while in game?

I...actually I don't know. If you take the HMD off, the pipeline is reset, so maybe you can take it off, change it, and put it back on. I need to experiment

For some reason I can't get EDProfiler to change my game's settings for me. Could it be because I have the game in both Steam and the Oculus launcher and it's getting confused?

I don't think so because afaik they both use the same settings files but will look into it later if you remind me

It is possible to use it with the EDFX? I have to launch the game by EDFX or EDProfiler?I need to change graphs to mid when landing on planets... Thanks!

Hi I just installed your tool and my carefully calibrated bindings that I had just finished set up 2 days ago have been overwritten. Needless to say, I am extremely       . Do you think your program could have caused that?

Overwritten - no, but quite possibly a different binding set has been selected. Check your bindings and find the one you carefully calibrated and switch back to it. Untick the "Enabled" box in the binding sections of EDProfiler (or select your specific binding set) to avoid it changing it in future.

[???] I would like to delete some GUI profiles I created. Is there a location or way to delete them? I searched, but cannot find.

my english is bad .. I mean: while playing I choose a key to change the settings. Example: Ctrl + 1 = graphs on medium - Ctrl + 2 = high graphics. this while I play. without minimizing the game.

I very much doubt this can be done. As far as I know changes using EDprofiler need a restart so that ED can read the config files. I don't think there is anyway ED graphics quality can be changed on the fly.

I'm not sure if it was because of the fix for the SS or not, but I've definitely found, as far as I've tested so far, a solution that solves the SS issue and the Region issue. I've changed to norwegian and played around with decimal and thousand separators and I can't get it to produce any issues.

I've updated the version to 1.0.3. Please download and test, my foreign friends
(found an issue and fixed and updated to 1.0.3.2, for anyone who downloaded it in the last hour. Please check the assembly info to make sure it is 1.0.3.2 now - basically fixed LOD Distance and HMD pixel quality for foreign region users)

Hmm I'm on the newest version and it's not saving the controls binding for me, each time I switch profile (or save a new one) it resets to 'empty'.

Any ideas?

EDIT: to clarify, it's saving the status of the checkbox, just not the selection in the combo box.

I have swapped , and . and it still works perfectly for me, as I already included parsing code. So yeah, I'm stumped. Feel free to give me details about your settings and what you do that specifically fixes it.

EDIT 2: I have physically switched region and am getting the errors. There is light.

Glad to meet you too, Dr. Kaii, and in no way did you steal my thunder, as it was... :D I'm very happy you made this, as I no longer had the time to continue development on EDDS (case in point: it's been 3 weeks since I visited this thread).
