Yep same here, but i beat you NW3, my report of this bug was in No 702

Any chance good Dr, that you could cast your eye over this issue as i just can't create any new colour scheme using you great program, or modify some of the existing colour schemes.

Hello guys
ive just installed my PSVR to my gaming PC last night and ive tried out ED and i generally happy with it.all in cockpit menus appear to be legible straight out of the box..dunno why a lot of folk are having problems seeing them but nvm lol
Can this program help my PSVR look even better?
My rig specs are
I5 7500 3.5/3.8mhz
16 GB DDR4 2133mhz
6GB Palit Jetstream GTX980TI sitting at 1350mhz self OC
usual SSD and Hybrid drives...
Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup

any advise or settings would be appreciated

hi - having an issue with the latest version - Two of the VR settings are greyed out and when i detect current settings, they are not the same as when I look at the graphics options from within the game - super sample and HMD image quality are not correct

Update - fixed the issue - removed everything under my ED settings in documents and restarted ED Profiler - this seemed to clear everything up.

Close ED Profiler
I went to D:\LORI_HOME\Documents\ (My Documents) and renamed EDProfiler to EDProfiler-Orig
restart ED Profiler

It created a new EDProfiler directory, and I was able to then select VR Ultra as an option - after repoint-ing the tool to the location of the Elite Dangerous x64.exe again

seems to be detecting settings from Elite properly now

Still having an issue with OR text not being as clear as Pimax 4k/B text - but thats a whole different issue

Yeah, that BE is a real diamond in the rough for elite. I’m struggling getting the same sharpness of text on the Rift that I get with this incredible little headset. I didn’t think that slight increase in resolution made such a huge difference. Or maybe it’s the type of matrix they’re using on the OLED screen, but elite looks amazing with this headset —if you can live with the 66hz refresh rate lock.

It's probably the increased res, since both units have OLED displays. The Pimax 8K should be noticeably better; I'm impatiently waiting for mine to be delivered next year.

Im banking on getting one as I currently have a DK2 which serves me well ,so the jump even to the 4k should be like black and white to colour in comparison.

If I pick a different colour code and return, the blue colour code is gone...

I tried creating several colour presets to figure out what was going on, hence the need to delete now...

Any solution to this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling EDprofiler but to no avail. Also used ccleaner to clean up registry etc.etc.. after uninstall but no fix

There must be a way to delete the gd HUD profiles..

Thanks for the reports, I'll look into them soon. FYI gui profiles are saved in ...\Documents\EDProfiler\GUI Profiles and can be deleted manually

It doesn't need to know where the game is installed, so why are you asking? You encountering a bug?

It tells me the launcher needs to be updated, when I click no it takes me to an old launcher.

Hmmmm, hold on, opening from steam as normal caused a huge download, lemme test again...

edit: Nope, finally got in from steam. closed down, went back to your profiler, it said a new launcher version needed to be downloaded. clicked yes and started downloading from a 'hoasting.zaonce.net' page.

When I click the 'launch elite' button it pulls up c:\program files (x86)\Frontier\EDlaunch\edlaunch.exe (Which I'm not quite sure how ever got installed at all since I installed from steam)

Steam uses c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\EDlaunch.exe which is where I normally launch from.

Since the steam installation is up to date I'd like your launcher to open that installation, not the one in frontier...
