Release EDRefCard - makes a printable reference card of your controller bindings

Hello,

I am having issues with my HoTaS combo (Virpil Constellation Alpha Right + Thrustmaster TWCS throttle).
Is that combination not supported? It seems the individual parts are.

The reference card shows up as a T16000M FCS & Throttle and most of the binds are missing.
There's the message about unsupported devices and the reference: htsevh.

Is there anything I should do to get it noticed properly? If not, any help is much appreciated.
I'll attach the bindings in case that's required.

Thanks again!

I had the same problem with my Virpil Alpha Primes.

I used this link which was posted by Epaphus and works for me. Worth trying it out for you as it might be updated for your sticks maybe.

All credit goes to the creator. Saved me a huge headache.

how do I download the keybinding? show i can add them to the game.

At the foot of the page you can see the link. Here is an example:

xnrwfj, I'm using dual constellation alpha's. Figuring it's probably the Alpha L that's not being recognised. I'd have tried to submit a PR, but can't find the current repo, only an old one for it.

It here:

Using an afdesign for the template isn't great, as can't open it. Assuming the version you linked isn't live? If so, where?

I'd only found https://edrefcard2.epaphus.uk/ actually up, which let me use https://edrefcard2.epaphus.uk/device/VPC-ALPHA-Prime-Left (assuming it's a proper render of the afdesign file) to re-order the buttons to match & using the right pid.

I'd submit a PR, but I managed to find the repo for that one so I'll have to wait until @Epaphus merges before I could fork yours and add it there.

So I've zipped the modified file, and attached here, you can add it yourself if you like in the meantime.

Epaphus is hosting that repo for me. It is live.

If you do a PR it can be merged and put up on the url.

We've inherited the code base, lots of things aren't ideal. I'm working on a rewrite in my spare time... Slowly.

I think the VID/PID may have changed yet again with the latest firmware update (20240617) - in the binds for Elite Dangerous, I'm showing the following identifiers:

VPC CM3 Throttle : VPCThrottle (VPC software shows 33440197)
VPC Control Panel #2 : 3344025B
VPC Alpha Prime R : 33444390
VPC Alpha Prime L : 3344838F

Previously the throttle was 33448197, but that firmware was pretty old so I'm not sure how useful that information is. If you need more information from me, please let me know. Thanks!

Added them to the repo, will be available on the site soon.

The PR and the attached file removes bindings for 334483EB and added 334403F3
I can pull the bindings for 334403F3 from that file and add them separately so 334483EB isn't affected.

Didn't know he'd forked it!

@Epaphus do we want to merge things back together?
The Github fork is for creating PRs to your repo for changes I've made. The site is still based on your repo.

Sorry about that, I've raised another PR against Brammers Repo, only adding the Virpirl Vid/Pid, and the bindings layout.

If you're re-writing, mind if I use the ref card images? I'm playing around with writing one in JS so that it can be run from a static site, and cost nothing using github pages instead.

I've merged the PR from @Epaphus - no conflicts.

@joebywan your has conflicted with the main branch, so will need fixing. Can you go again off of the new main branch? I think the issue is that Epaphus had implemented the prime-left and I merged his PR first.

I confess to it being all over the place. I might take another look later in the week when I'm less tired.

I hate git sometimes!
