Decided I wanted to upload my journal to EDSM. Went to the import journal page and dropped the Elite Dangerous folder found in (...%username%>saved games>Frontier Developments) and now the web browser isn’t responding. Was I supposed to drop the whole Elite Dangerous folder or am I supposed to drag each individual journal entry?

If you use EDDiscovery you can sync your journals to EDSM via the little button next to the star maps button. It works for the currently selected commander in EDDiscovery, if you have more than one.
It seems to submit 200 journals at a time so it ran for quite a while for me - I even restarted EDD and clicked again when EDSM seemed to stall a few times.
(Of course you have to input the ESDM API key for your commander in EDD settings.)
