Man...if only this could auto populate with our inventory....nice work!
Personaly, I don't update the app in real time. Instead, after collecting matz & data during various activities, I make an inventory update (let's say 1 or 2 in week).

I switch the game in windowed mode (Alt+Enter) and with the two windows side by side, updating is easy as a pie. It takes no more than 5 min.

I have a feature request - could the Blueprints have a number associated with them like the Components do? And then have the components required for the selected Blueprints be highlighted in blue when you have enough of them, and red when you don't.

That way I could set up what I want to build, then use the Components list a bit like a shopping list of what I need to find.
 
Hello this is a great tool for logging your engineering items ,I spent a few mins doing all the entries into the app,thing is I cannot get my data back into the app , clicking on the toolbox which opens there is a box to which I assume paste your saved file back into ,the file I want back in is in csv format (I have excel) I copy the csv file but the paste option is not working in your toolbox field ,how do you enable it?

Bit stumped :)

Hello. Only EDuardo's previously exported data can be imported.

Just entered all of my items on a laptop. I exported the csv file. I want to transfer those items to my Elite computer. How do you import to another computer? I go to import export and it says to paste previously saved data and press the icon?

Hi Schimz - great work on this.

are you considering linking this to the journal feature added in 2.2? I understand the journal only provides details as to changes to the materials inventory, i.e. as they are collected/used. So it would still need setting manually initially, but after that it would be great to have it auto-update :D

Cool app. Are you planning to use the new commander's log to allow keeping the inventory up to date automatically?

Nope. By design for security, web browsers can't access local file system.

If it had to be implemented, user would need to manualy select the file.

And even with this, the journal log is not a pratical resource. A simple inventory dump is by far the best solution.
 
Nice site, however I've found an issue, although you can export your matts/data list into a CSV, you can't (or I'm too stupid to figure it out) import said CSV back into it.

Import/export is for JSON only. The CSV export was made by request for convenience.

Just flew out to Bill Turner with some mats to engineer some Plasma Accelerators. G3 Rapid Fire uses OSMIUM, not NIOBIUM.

Has Long Range Plasma Accelerators been looked at? I was doing some upgrades with my PAs yesterday, and some of the ones I used to level up didn't match with Eduardo. I think it was G4 Long Range that I saw, but that's based on memory. Can check again later as I am still at Turner's place.

Good job on the 2.3 blueprints, but it's a bit early for some of us ;)

Just checked in game, and there are three discrepancies with the Short Range Blaster PA Blueprints.
G3 Short Range Blaster: Nickel, Modified Consumer Firmware, Elecrochemical Arrays (in game), vs Mechanical Equipment, Precipated Alloys, Specialised Legacy Firmware (Eduardo)

G4 Short Range Blaster: Modified Consumer Firmware, Elecrochemical Arrays, Conductive Polymers (in game) vs Mechanical Components, Modified Consumer Firmware, Thermic Alloys (Eduardo)

G5 Short Range Blaster: Cracked Industrial Firmware, Configurable Components, Biotech Conductors (in game) vs Configurable Components, Precipitated Alloys, Technetium (Eduardo).
